Lease Instrument Options
We carry a full selection of top-quality NEW and USED BAND and ORCHESTRA INSTRUMENTS by the manufacturers your director recommends including Yamaha, Selmer, Eastman, Buffet, Noble & Luger brand instruments.
In addition to new instruments, we usually have a good selection of USED INSTRUMENTS which can be leased just like the new instruments but at lower monthly rental rates. Most of our used instruments are Lease Returns--instruments returned to us because the student either switched to another instrument or opted not to continue in the program. We also acquire some used instruments through trade-ins or purchases. Every used instrument in our inventory is thoroughly checked, cleaned, sanitized, regulated and adjusted in our in-house band/orchestra repair shop and outfitted with new accessories required for the instrument. We stand 100% behind our used instruments just like we do our new ones.
USED Instruments are categorized as follows:
USED A -- These instruments are "like new" and have minimal use--usually less than a school year. These instruments show very little wear and tear and are in excellent condition.
USED B -- These instruments have been used a little longer than the "A's" --maybe up to 3 years of use--but are still in very good condition. They may show some minor wear & tear, but are still in sound mechanical and cosmetic condition.
USED C -- Generally these instruments are 3+ years of age and have cosmetic imperfections on the instrument/case. These instruments are still regulated and adjusted for excellent play-ability.
USED D - These instruments are in-store only and are generally more than 5 years old. Stock availability on these instruments is limited.
Used instruments are great for families on a budget as their retail prices and their corresponding monthly rental rates are lower than new instruments. Although we normally will have some used inventory available, we cannot always guarantee it. It is first-come, first-served with used instruments. You are welcome to call us to check on availability. If you request a used instrument on-line which we cannot supply, we will contact you with other available options.
